Baby Mat

I designed a baby mat this week for part of my nursery rhyme room theme. It is a textured baby mat for rolling and tummy time on the floor. The multiple textures are good for stimulating the baby's mind, and soft to the touch. Here are some of the photos that show the process!

Senior studio B

So this is my last semester at CCS, I never thought the time would come! For my last senior studio I will be  creating a theme for a baby room and making wall decals, lamps, clothing, stuffed animals, curtains, mobiles, blankets and pillows. The theme I decided on was nursery rhymes, specifically "The cow jumped over the moon" So my projects will all relate to the rhyme, to create a nursery theme that could be sold as a complete set.

The above is the first illustration of four; Cow jumping over moon, cat with a fiddle, little dog laughing, and dish with a spoon.

I know, I know... The cat and the fiddle does come before the cow in the nursery rhyme, I was in a cow mood so started with this one :]
